My mother, a first generation Korean-American is a famous cook among her friends and certainly among us kids.
During a recent two week stay at my mother’s house, the whole family sat down and wrote out a two week menu of all of my mother’s classic recipes. This turned into a two-week crash course in cooking for me (really my mother doing all the hard work with me yelling ‘slow down!’ from behind my laptop). In this blog are all of the dishes that we made, some stories that go with these recipes and reactions from around the table.

Love this! I’ve always wanted mom’s recipes written down since she has them in her head. She is so gifted in the kitchen! Thanks for putting this together.

You’re welcome, Tenille! Please add your own recipes or send them to me to post! Perhaps something from your recent cooking class? xoxo
